Kentaro Yasui – Managing Partner Ken founded Inspirior LLC with Hans during April ’04. He has over 10 years of track record in orchestrating alliance and strategic initiatives between Silicon-valley startups and blue-chip Japanese corporations, and over 15 years of experience in general strategic consulting, having started his career with McKinsey & Company’s Tokyo/Osaka offices. His most enduring client relationship is with NTT group of Japan, although he has also served leading US clients such as IBM, Motorola and P&G while with the McKenna Group. Ken is inspired by Silicon-valley’s ongoing venture creation dynamism, and strives to evangelize this dynamism to Japan and greater China as his lifework. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Joseph Chen – Chief Technologist Joe is a proven ‘serial entrepreneur’, having launched successful enterprise software ventures such as Interwoven, Versant and SeeUthere as either CTO or Chief Architect of founding teams. He delivers pragmatic technical advice to many of Inspirior’s startup clients, often helping to accelerate business planning and product development activities. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, he was a technical consultant with IBM and Oracle’s professional service organizations. He holds BS & MS in Computer Science from University of Southern California (USC). Peter Chu – Advisor Peter brings a wealth of venture investment & nurturing, product development, and cross-border business development expertise to the Inspirior team. He is currently a Managing Partner of Asiatech Ventures (www.asiatechgroup.com), an early stage, technology focused Venture Capital firm with $200Mil invested in the US-Greater China technology corridor. Prior to AsiaTech, he has held key positions in established as well as start up companies including Oracle, Verity, Channel A and Envive (Keynote). While with Oracle, he played an instrumental role in establishing Oracle’s Greater China operations. Peter is a frequent speaker at Silicon-valley organizations such as AAMA, Monte Jade, Hua Yuan Science and Technology and guest lectures at Stanford University and UC Berkeley. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
